Hiromitsu Toyosaki
Hiromitsu Toyasaki is a writer and photo journalist. Since 1978 he has covered the situation of global hibakusha, victims of radiation exposure from uranium mining and milling, nuclear testing, and nuclear power plant accidents. Toyasaki has worked in such places as the Marshall Islands and other Micronesian Islands, Australia, United States, Canada, Kazakhstan, Russia, Russian Arctic, Belarus, Ukraine, Sweden, and Germany, also covering anti-nuclear movements such as global hibakusha conferences, the nuclear-free movement, and opposition to nuclear power plants.
